APICS Affiliate Student Chapters

APICS encourages and supports the organization of an affiliate student chapter (ASC) at any accredited college, university, or technical school in any community where the chapter can be expected to succeed and fulfill its purpose. ASCs must be associated with a "parent" APICS chapter. APICS currently has more than 180 ASCs. If your school does not have an ASC on campus, contact your local APICS chapter to discuss forming one. For the APICS chapter nearest you, contact APICS Customer Service at (800) 444-APICS (2742) or (703) 237-8344. Request item #01022 for more information on developing a student chapter.

Student Chapter Awards Program

The Student Chapter Awards Program is designed to encourage and reward ASCs that operated in an organized and well-planned manner and meet the needs of their members. A chapter must provide evidence of achievement in five areas:

  1. Administrations
  2. Education
  3. Programs
  4. Members
  5. Public Relations

By focusing attention on these areas, the chapter gains balance in its activities. For more information, call APICS Customer Service and request item #1024.

Scholarships
