Objectives

Members of Epsilon Pi Tau are provided an opportunity to improve their personal skills, participate in extracuricular activities, and actively support the Department of Technology.

The Primary objectives of Epsilon Pi Tau are to:

• Promote the values and contributions of education in technology.
• Provide a medium for the professional developement and recognition of individual members for leadership and achievement.
• Enhance the professional status of the fields and practitioners devoted to education in technology.
• Foster and encourage the acceptance among its members of the ideals of technical competence, social efficiency, and research.

The active agenda which was formed from the Honorary objectives above is a duty listing for EPT. These duties include:

• Provide an avenue for involvement and input in department activities.
• Provide opportunities for students to exercise their leadership and organizational skills.
• Provide an excellent service to the Department of Technology and to EKU.
• Provide an avenue for improving social interaction between students.
• Provide excellent outreach for the department.
• Provide opportunities for students to compete in collegiate competitive events.
