The Master of Science Degree in Industrial Technology has been designed for those individuals who are interested in industrial management. Courses in the program have been designed to cause students to examine principles, concepts, attitudes, and methods for dealing with many of the challenges that will exist for industrial managers now and in the future. The program will be of value to those who are currently employed in industries and have professional growth
aspirations. This program will also be of value to those who have recently completed undergraduate study and want additional preparation prior to embarking on their career. This program can be completed through on-line coursework other than the 6 hour technology proposal and project or internship which is usually completed at your place of employment. The following 30-hour program of studies is prescribed: |

Core Courses are 18 semester hours of Total Quality Control, Manufacturing Value Analysis, Productivity Assessment and Analysis, Project Management, Industrial Operation Research, and Creative Problem Solving. Specialty Courses are 6 semester hours of Industrial Technology Proposal and Industrial Technology Project or Industrial Internship. Supporting Courses are 6 semester hours to be selected from Survey of Accounting, Information Systems Applications, Seminar in Investments, Legal - Ethical and Social Environment of Business, Survey of Management, Survey of Marketing, Business Forecasting, Applied Statistical Inference or other graduate level electives approved by advisor. |
