Application deadlines are March 1, 2004 for High School Students and April 1, 2004 for Enrolled College Students.
Web Offset Association Scholarships The
Web Offset Association will award scholarships to graduating secondary
school seniors and students currently enrolled in a post-secondary
college, university or other institution. These scholarships
are for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the
recipients and they are restricted in that the recipients must
be emphasizing graphic arts in their studies. Application deadline is April 15, 2004.
Midwest Screen Printing Association Scholarship in Technology - This annual $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a student working toward a Bachelor's Degree major directly related to screen printing. A 2.5 GPA and rising sophomore, junior or senior status is required. To apply, send a resume, one page statement of financial need, one page explanation of career aspirations in the screen printing industry, and a catalog description/brochure of the major. Include two letters of reference; one from a professor in the major and/or a reference from an employer related to the graphic arts industry. Mail to: Education Committie, MSPA, P.O. EDSF, The Electronic Systems Document Foundation - EDSF scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are preparing for careers in document preparation, production or distribution; one-to-one marketing; graphic arts and communication; e-commerce; imaging science; printing; web authoring; electronic publishing; computer science; telecommunications or related fields. 1. Print Neatly, preferably type the application. Neatness counts.
2. Graphic arts work experience helps, no matter how little, it shows interest.
3. List activities in school, social, religious or community organizations. This shows you can work with others, and leadership if you have been an officer.
