Minor in Computer Electronic Publishing
The Minor in Computer Electronic Publishing provides students with the abilities to create professional quality pages and documents using the
latest in computer technology. This minor is well suited to develop within students the technical skills to assist them in creating high quality
documents for their major field of study
The Graphic Communication courses gives an excellent introduction into the printing and publishing world with fun hands-on assignments. The
Electronic Publishing courses are "desk-top publishing" courses using the Adobe Creative Suite software to develop in the student the ability
to produce professional images and documents. Digital Photography is a very popular course to provide experience in using Adobe Photoshop
to create images for use in many different computer applications.
In the Supporting Courses, the student has the opportunity to take courses in either printing or web publishing. Each student may choose to specialize in
print publishing or web publishing or to take one course in each area.
Previous students have found that the information and skills taught in the Minor in Computer Electronic Publishing has been very valuable
in assisting them to be successful in their occupation.
