SCHOLARSHIPS
The Department of Technology is delighted to offer many outstanding scholarship opportunities for new freshmen, transfer and current students. All eligible students are encouraged to apply. Please note that many of the scholarships have deadlines early in the spring.

Department-Wide Scholarships

RODNEY RATLIFF SCHOLARSHIP ($1,000*) |

A College of Business and Technology scholarship open to any student showing a need and a high potential for success after graduation. |
Aviation Scholarships
|
Eidson MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ($1,500*) |
|
The Patricia Eidson is open to any female pursuing a career as a professional pilot. Applicants must have a private pilot’s license, a minimum 3.0 GPA and completed at least 60 credit hours. |

MOORE AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP ($500*) |
|
The H. Lee Moore Jr. Aviation Scholarship is open to any declared aviation student with a GPA of at least 3.0, who holds a private pilot’s license. |

VEAL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP ($2,000*, two scholarships to be awarded) |
|
The Captain Tag Veal Memorial Aviation Scholarship is open to any declared aviation student with a GPA of at least 3.0, who holds a private pilot’s license. |
Construction Scholarships

RICHARD BROOKER SCHOLARSHIP ($1,250*, two scholarships to be awarded) |
|
In conjunction with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Kentucky, the Richard A. Brooker scholarship is open to any junior or senior enrolled in the Construction Management major. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. |

Education Scholarships

RALPH
W. WHALIN SCHOLARSHIP ($1,000*) |

Open to Juniors enrolled
full-time in the Department of Technology with at least three semesters
remaining before graduation, and a minimum GPA of 3.0. |

WILLIAM SEXTON SCHOLARSHIP ($To Be Announced*) |
|
The recipient of the William E. Sexton scholarship is to be a full-time student freshman or sophomore with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Financial need is a consideration in this scholarship. |

ED SWINFORD SCHOLARSHIP ($To Be Announced*) |
|
The recipient of the Ed Swinford scholarship is to be a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 2.8. Financial need is a consideration in this scholarship. |
